Seems to be as relevant to OE/XBMC as ext4 vs f2fs (which is also only about better/worse performance) but I think I've shown that a decent SD card is likely to be faster than a USB2 stick for writing and not far behind for reading, whilst a USB3 stick is likely to be significantly faster than the SD card for reading but about equal for writing, so I hope that will help users avoid wasting money buying things that aren't going to help them and I'm happy to leave it at that
