I tried to play another m2ts file this morning. Kinda same symptoms as before. Log is here : http://sprunge.us/XhaH

In the logs it looks like it fails immediately. but in fact the pi is unresponsive (but still replies to pings) for the duration of the movie that I tried to play. Once the movie time has elpased, it becomes responsive again. So far have tried this over nfs and samba. I guess the next test is local.

If this is a file error then no need to worry.
