Can you try:
Code:
echo 0 > /sys/power/pm_async

From here:
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...pid1653349

Suspended/resumed 10x after applying the above in Beta 4.

PS: Tried it a few more times and all seems OK. Can't say if setting /sys/power/pm_async to 0 has any side effects.

Thanks, I'll try it!

Yes, thank you, thank you! At least ten suspends and not one crash.
Thanks again!

Hello!

I just got my NUC DN2820FYKH, installed 4gb of memory and 60GB SSD drive. Now I'm having troubles with XBMC...

I tried OpenELEC, but it keeps freezing on me.
I tried win 8 with stable XBMC, but video is really slugginsh, looks like 10fps.
I tried latest stable XBMCbuntu, but XBMC doesnt start(forgot the error, actually screen is just blinking and then it send me back to login prompt).

What is currently the best and most stable way to run XBMC on my NUC?

Matej

First you should upgrade the bios to 0028:

OpenElec Generic Beta works without any problems now:

Beyond experimental reasons - seeing the stability of XBMC currently on Android (especially when compared to linux or Windows) - why would you? Not sure how well it would sit, driver end either.
If I have helped you or increased your knowledge - please click the plus to the left below to give thanks

'Intressted in doind a dual boot. openelec and android. I only do openelec, found it to be the most stable when it comes to xbmc.
But still whould be fun to have a fast full fledge android under the tv too, games etc.

Not sure, if you'd like that - you will loose in any case: bistream audio (dts-hd, truehd) and also all sorts of deinterlacing despite swblend.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Just curious

It will sometimes freeze on shutdown too, I've tried both. Gonna try the fix from last page tonight and see.

Anyone noticed overscan issues? Apparently the BIOS or other boot screens are causing my TV to turn off "PC mode" (which is actually the setting that disables overscan). As if there's something going wrong with the HDMI handshake.

I'm running the latest BIOS 0028. Openelec beta 4.
