Intel NUC - Bay Trail (Celeron Generation CPU) - DN2820FYKH
(2014-04-03, 13:02)Verno Wrote: I've tried it with an SSD and a thumb drive in OpenElec, it still has the suspend problem. That's good to know that Mint doesn't have the issue with the same kernel, must be an OE problem then. Has anyone succeeded in getting a log of the event? I can't seem to.

I'm not sure, it's totally the same kernel, I only upgraded to 3.14 RC2 to use the HDMI sound, but didn't upgrade further, because I started using OpenELEC.
I'll try it this evening with the final 3.14 kernel.

Suspend isn't suported on USB installs unless you activate it.

The logs I've seen point to Upower errors from early on in the logs. Afaik, this is power management. Hopefully someone with more linux/OE experience can make sense of it... Example: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...pid1669749

Does 1080p playback of flash files work smoothly in windows for anyone, if so which version & what drivers are you using.

Is it just the win7 drivers that are duds or does win8 struggle too?

I have the same error line in the previous kernel version:

I never did, I reverted back to it, and have tested a dozen times now, and nothing.

Does anyone know if it's possible to use the OpenELEC UEFI .img on a flash drive, boot with legacy boot disabled and install OE UEFI on a SSD?

You are not alone, and I think it affects Windows 8 too.

I created a thread on the Intel message board over a month ago for this issue (link to thread), so far no fix.

I encourage you to login to that board and let them know you are having this issue too.

Okay, I've just built myself a 18092, and the Suspend function magically works again... Checked it at least a dozen times.
I've checked the commits at https://github.com/OpenELEC/OpenELEC.tv/commits/master , but neither of them jumps out as the solution, yet it works now.
Thanks everybody, who helped!

Never freezes on suspend/shutdown? Do you have a link to that build? I wanna give it a shot on mine.
