Guys -
I'm going to commit a cardinal sin here, and expect to be told off. Not only should I know better, but I *do* know better... but the debug log is routinely anything up to 40Mb and half a million lines, so I'm going to give it a go anyway!
Gotham 13.0-BETA3 Git:2dcc85 crash when idle and unattended, potentially after several days (idling in the background on my server). The only "death messages" are to do with upower:
... and there's no more.
The crashlog shows 43 threads running, but this is the suicide note:
Server is running tvheadend and hosting multiple USB tuners as well, although they're all fine and dandy and XBMC can simply be restarted, Library is mysql on the same system. Shares are NFS. XFCE 4.8 on Xubuntu 12.04.4 LTS Precise with an upgraded (backport) kernel:
Linux 3.5.0-48-generic #72~precise1-Ubuntu SMP Tue Mar 11 20:09:08 UTC 2014
XBMC installed from repository, so no self-build options.
Now, I know that's very little to go on - and I'll try to get a shorter debug log that hopefully is more usable as a result and I'll post that if/when I get it - but I thought I'd float this here in case someone had any immediate ideas where to look further and/or whether it's perhaps an already-identified issue.
Thanks...
