I went ahead and installed XBMC for OUYA 12.3.2. Libstagefright acceleration was enabled, and I played a 1080p x264/DTS MKV. Smooth as butter, with no dropped frames. Log: http://pastebin.com/yW9PfZQb
I then played the same MKV in your latest Gotham test build. MediaCodec disables, only Libstagefright enabled. Tons of dropped frames, and completely unwatchable. Log: http://pastebin.com/fDsTvMPq
So I guess it's reasonable to say libstagefright was working better in the OUYA build, at least when it comes to Snapdragon processors.
