Ok, tested the build using this video as a test (libstagefright on / mediacodec off)
The video played as smooth a butter all the way through. No frame drops, judders, stutters or anything else that I noticed. DTS pass-through also had no issues (haven't tried DD yet).
The only issue that I have now is that every time I start XBMC I have to manually set the audio mode on my AVR for the first movie I play. Once I set it for the first one then everything is fine, but if I don't then I get the static/noise issue. This is probably because I have a Denon AVR and is probably not an issue with other brands.
I have to say this is probably a keeper. Great job Koying.
