Hi everyone.
Been using XBMC for years now on other devices. But just got my Fire TV and loaded Koying's Beta 4 just posted above in post #1098.
http://mirrors.xbmc.org/test-builds/andr...bi-v7a.apk
It's running really slow. Frame rate is really bogged down. Noobie question, does this have something to do with the mediacodec needing to be turned off and libstagegright turned on?
If so, how do I turn them off/on?
I've done some searching of the forum already, it it seems libstagefright is built into all the latest xbmc nightlies for awhile now, so I'm assuming I have to merely figure out how to disable mediacodec?
Or just hardware decoding in general from within XBMC? Not finding it.
Thanks.
Looking forward to giving an update for eveyrone's benefit once it starts playing smoothly. All help appreciated!
