This is good information. My one small issue right now is that I'll play a file from my NAS and it will start, buffer for a moment, then play perfectly. Sounds like I need to set buffermode 1.

Escape maps to "go to home screen"
Backspace maps to "go up one directory"

The fire tv runs xbmc very well. It's very quick, but there is a consistent and annoying bug .
The audio is always out of sync by about 1/4 second too slow. So you always have to change it in the audio menu for each item you watch. I have 2 fire tvs ( one running 13.2 and another 13RC1) and it's the same case with both.
I also have an apple tv2 and Raspberry pi and audio is spot on in sync with both. So this is definitely a problem with the fire tv.
Until there is a proper fix is there any way (maybe with XML code) to put the audio ahead by 250ms permanently for every video played? Any help/advice would really appreciated.
