Thanks for your support.
iam trying to build xbmc 13 and when i do a ./configure i get a libavcodec.a not found. what i understand is that xbmc is trying to build his own version of ffmpeg and it fails.
should i use ./configure --enable-external-ffmpeg to avoid this issue?

no, you shouldn't and it won't work if you use vanilla xbmc from our git. I suspend you don't and therefore get this error.

if you used our git source and it doesn't work when running just: ./configure, pastebin your config.log and config.status
