I have the weirdest issue running Xubuntu on my Chromebox. When I boot it up 90% of the time it won't actually boot and I get a "No Controller Found ACPI Probe Failed".
Then after a while it just says XUBUNTU 14.10 in the top left with a black screen.
It relates to my USB hard drive. I've tested it with numerous drives, and I know the drives are good. My newest installation has the home folder on the USB 3.0 Hard Drive so many times I get the blue screen that says it hasn't initiatlized yet, and I can either continue anyways or wait. So it stauls at these two spots. no clue why. Then it will randomly work. Once I'm in Xubuntu it works great.
