this is what happens when you either follow some other instructions other than mine, or don't follow them exactly. It sounds to be like you set the boot options to boot Ubuntu before the dual boot setup was completed. So here's what you need to do: Boot ChromeOS. Run the script, set the boot options back to the factory default (you shouldn't have changed them until you had a tested working Ubuntu setup, as per the instructions). Do a factory reset. Then, follow the instructions in the OP from that point.
