Has anyone else had same experience? With 5.0.8 fan didn't do that at all.
ACPI changes in the Linux kernel starting around 3.19 or so. With the standalone firmware, seems to run for about 10s here. Haven't had time to look into it, and a pretty low priority since my box stays on 24/7
