Hey Matt, I received my Club3D Displayport 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 Adapter (CAC-1070) today and thought I'd give an update. I'm running a dual-boot ChromeOS and OE 6.0 Generic Build setup. I tried connecting the new adapter from DP1 of the ASUS Chromebox to a 4 ft High Speed HDMI cable purchased recently (I don't have any HDMI cables that claim to pump 18+ Gig/sec). I was only able to get 30Hz at 3840x2160. As soon as I chose 60Hz, the screen would flicker and have a green line at the top until it reverted back to the previous setting. This was only possible with Samsung UHD Color setting set to ON (I have a Samsung UN65JU6500). With that setting off, I could only choose 30Hz at that resolution. I also tried setting the TV input to "PC mode" to see if that helped, no change. I then tried two additional High Speed HDMI cables that I have from different vendors with no difference. Based on the reviews for the mini-displayport adapter like this one (CAC-1170) on Amazon, I see very similar results. I can try the fritsch 6.0.98 build if you think it will help anything. I also plan to try another HDMI cable that I've ordered which claims to handle this bandwidth (even though HDMI 2.0 doesn't change the cable specs). Let me know if you have any ideas or have anything you'd like me to try, I'd be happy to give it a shot.
