Need a small help from you i am trying to prep the Chromebox for installing Kodi ( Asus ChromeBox CN60)
But as soon as i remove the write protection screw and boot the machine using the paperclip the Keyboard (ctrl+D) does not work.
I thought it is an issue with the keyboard but no once i Have the Screw back in everything works just fine.
any ideas where am i messing up. Is there a specific port i need to use the keyboard on.

there's no correlation between the write-protect screw and USB keyboard functionality, but if that's what you're seeing then I'd put the box in Developer Mode first, then remove the write-protect screw. All that matters is that the screw is removed prior to booting up and running any script options which require it
