I was finally able to get it to install. Just incase anyone else comes along needing guidance here, I'd like to close out with what it took for me to complete this,

cd ~/Downloads
curl -L -O https://download.teamviewer.com/download...5_i386.deb
sudo apt-get install -f /home/{use rename}/Downloads/teamviewer_11.0.57095_i386.deb
