Here is my current setup:
1 unRAID NAS running MySQL and running XBMC Salud to update the library automatically
1 HTPC running Win7 and XBMC 12.3
The dilmena:
I want to upgrade to Gotham but don't want to lose the functionality of having my HTPC up to date when I turn it on. Waiting for it to scrape seems like an unnecessary evil now. I've also been thinking of ditching MySQL and switching to uPNP. To do this I would have some really cheap Android stick/box that would stay on all the time and be used to share the library via uPNP and handle all updates from Sick Beard/CouchPotato.
Does anyone else do something like this?
I know it's wishful thinking but I wish there was a XBMC Server plugin for unRAID that did uPNP library sharing. Someday maybe.
