Hi,
I'm fairly new to XBMC (came with 12.3 and now 13) and do like it. However, there a few things that do bother me and I I'm really curious why I can't find anything on the net about it and why nobody else seems to be annoyed by them:

1. Pressing the "Next" button on the GUI does nothing...Please let me easily start the next episode!!!
   
2. Enabling/Disabling subtitles requires the keyboard ('T')...why doesn't the subtitle button work to properly with my .srt files?
   
3. Deleted files won't be removed, leaving a bunch of nonworking links in the GUI (or even worse, creating duplicate entries when adding them again). This is a huge problem for me as my files are first on the download server before they are moved to their final destination, creating duplicates and consequently a huge mess!
   
4. File renaming ... most episodes (named "Show - S01E23 - Episode Title)", are displayed as "2x12 - Episode Title" but now they show up as "S01E23 - Episode Title"
   
5. [minor] The main folder of each show has nice art, which is also displayed when goig into the season's folder and hovering over the episode...but why doesn't the shows subfolder with the Seasons have the art as well?
   Example: the folder "My TV Show" has n seasons -> n subfolders (S01, S02, etc.). The art for "My TV Show" is displayed when browsing the folder with all the shows, then no art when I select the show and get the list with S01, S02, ... and then it is shown again when I select a season.
   

Am I just being stupid and/or ignorant or is anybody else having the same problems?

I would appreciate if you could give me some insight on either how to fix these issues, give me some rationale behind why it is handled this way.

In respect to the poster and part of the forums mantra, NO; I doubt you have mental challenges, but new users sometimes have a bit of a learning curve, pls read the wili's. I suspect your issues are a perspective that is not shared widely. There is Feature Suggestions, a forum in which your ideas, shortcomings etc are discussed.

1) The 'Next' toggle is operable when a queue is selected (one could argue the word next should not be shown until multiple selections of two or more selections are present) we await your code improvements.

2) subs works fine for me, plays my .srt files from the OSD, can be mapped to your remote. Perhaps you have a naming issue or set-up of the subs is not correct? settings>videos>subtitles

3) The delete function works well, and in some configurations.... all is gone. When you have images, logos, disks, extras, fanart, more videos, trailers and on.... the delete of an entire folder could be a hazardous undertaking and in many cases not what the user had in mind. Some configurations have multiple videos in one folder, or no folders, etc.. I think this feature will become self apparent the longer you use XBMC

5) Investigate the add-on Artwork Downloader it will populate images and posters as you like.

XBMC is a work in progress, and with multiple developers and contributors, there is to be improvements in the areas of which you mention. We welcome your suggestions, and contributions, and hope you will make XBMC a stronger better product for all of us to enjoy.
