Maybe, but using your approach, more than 50% of users would have no clue and/ or willingness even if it was documented to register an api key on an external site (note: TMDb is currently not offering api keys to individuals...) then configuring it in the addon. Majority of them is even struggling to figure out how to change the scraping language.
