How so? Considering that YouTube TV offers the opportunity to link to your smartphone app... I'm not so sure. Then, I'm all for a "built in" experience but felt, for quite some time, that by using the plugin we were losing out. I might be missing stuff, though, this is why I'm asking.
One strong advance of the plugin approach is refresh rate switching, for me personally. No stuttering.
