Release P2P-Streams - SopCast and AceStream for Kodi
PM sent

thanks anyway

Tested the exact same stream in Kodi on Win 10 on the same network and the same stream is working there (although Kodi hangs and crashes when I stop the stream - separate issue though). Why isn't it connecting to peers on the RPi2?

Can someone with RPi2 who has experienced this and solved it reply? Would be greatly appreciated. Plexus won't connect to any streams on RPi2 for me but my other two Windows computers on the same network will without problems

Oher thing, how can we include acestream/sopcast sites in this program? we can do it, right?

No you can't. When you are new to some place it's a good start to read the posts that have been written before you arrive. You can add websites or whatever that means by creating an addon for kodi. Or playing them through m3u playlist that kodi actually supports:

http://kodi.wiki/view/Basic_playlists

Or you can also call the addon from strm files:

http://kodi.wiki/view/Internet_video_and_audio_streams

Paths to the plugin are, for now, "the same" as for the old p2p-streams addon:

Quote:plugin://program.plexus/?mode=1&url=acestream://.........&name=My+acestream+channel
plugin://program.plexus/?mode=1&url=http://my-channel.acelive&name=My+acestream+channel

Quote:plugin://program.plexus/?mode=2&url=sop://.........&name=My+sopcast+channel

On p2p we had a couple os of sites who provide some links to events. It was simple to find the games and the streams we wanted to see. In this new addon we'll have access to stream sites schedule for exemple?
is SopCast not working on Plexus yet? I'm using Plexus with an RPI2 and AceStream works fine, but the SopCast IDs I try to use don't work

thanks

EDIT -- nvm, working now. cleared plexus settings and it redownloaded the modules.

i tested myself 2 times before posting here.
if i watch an acestream it plays flawlessly up when the downloading checkes the 1000Mb mark. after that - we start getting a lot of bufferings and image stalls...

in log i have smth like:
15:46:39 142326.578125 T:1221588000 WARNING: CRenderManager::WaitForBuffer - timeout waiting for buffer

or

15:58:03 143010.328125 T:1410331680 ERROR: CCurlFile::FillBuffer - Failed: Transferred a partial file(18)

if i stop the stream, restart it - all good until the 1000mb downloading mark. then i must restart the stream. btw, stream is 1080p so we get the 1000mb mark quite fast Big Grin

F1 1080p? Please tell me where do you find that.
Just wondering if there will be a repo available so that it can update automatically every time it gets updated?

In the Advanced Tools menu all of the configuration settings below the custom stop function option have disappeared. Instead it says "Please re-do the configuration to get the new modules". Any ideas on how I should proceed to get the settings back?
So, why am I getting russian text and somber music when I attempt to run sports streams from torrent-tv.ru?
There is any way to run plugin "acestream" of plexus by a channel on parser into old p2p-streams by editing script(to call plugin://plugin.plexus /instead plugin://plugin.video.p2p-streams/)?
And in "my streams" of plexus program what type of url support?(xml or m3u config?)
Testing on android box, Ace streams work fine, however when I stop a stream, I am taken back to the android launcher home screen. This happened all the time.

Well, currently I have a stream on for more than 40 minutes. The AceStream Engine stats show a download amount of 1148 mb and no buffering or image stall for me. On Rpi2 (OS: Kodi on top of Retropie 3.0).
1080p?

i got this behavior only on 1080p, on 720p or less - no probs so far.
720p. I will test 1080p and report back.
