i have been using a cvs version of xbmc since feb 05. worked fine for the most part.

i downloaded a few new ones because i wanted to see what new features were out there.

put "xbmc-2006-05-13-pimped", on the xbox, and ever since, in the old xbmc when i choose "my videos" the unit locks up. if i choose the xbmc-pimped and try to chose "my videos", the unit just won't browse "my videos" but it seems the applications are functional.

any help is muchly appreciated, i did a search and didn't really find anything that'd help me in this.

use a recent build, either self made from cvs or t3ch for support.

we don't support old builds, and certainly not pimped builds.

thanks for the info. i don't really know the difference between pimped, cvs, etc etc. i have a copy of t3ch that i'm getting to work now. but i'd still like to know what might have caused the error.

well, there are probably two culprits that it could be

1) we changed a window id referenced from the skin back then.
2) a broken myvideos#.db (we occasionally do changes and, well, easy that something breaks due to a bug in update code).
