Wouldn't be so sure of that. Blu ray max video bitrate for 3d is 60mbps (2d is 40mbps). I believe audio remains the same at 8mbps max.
I've read people in the know (Amir from MS regarding HD-DVDs, awhile ago) say you can't trust players on screen display values of bitrates. That being said the 60mbps number is from a couple of places online but not the actual blu ray spec, but I would really be surprised if they went over the spec. Whatever that spec truly is.
That said if we can use ethernet over USB it should still be enough as would 802.11ac if you get a stable signal.
