I am having an issue where I am changing channels and when I select a channel that is not live.

A channel that has a dead link associated with it the box hangs on the working dialog box.

I have tried stopping it and tried to return back to the left menu nothing works.

Is there a way to shorten the timeout or do you have a recommendation to fix this?

I have the same problem on ATV1200 running Linux. Trying to cancel out of the "working" phase causes XBMC GUI to become unresponsive. The box is actually still working because you can log on with putty and tail -f the debug log or restart xbmc. I don't know of a fix.

I don't have an answer yet. I am on Android and my work around has been to press the home button wait a little bit then power off and start it up again.
