I have the last update (54.1.0.2-102018720), and kodi 14.0. Problem continues, "micro stutters" when wtaching 720 or 1080p movies. I tried streaming via smb and dlna, same problem. Even tried "reset to factory", no help. The movies are perfect when watched from other media players.
Netflix works ok in the stick.

What size of a file are you streaming?

Hi all. While I'm not using Kodi yet (much to learn yet before I jump in) I also sideloaded ES File Explorer and BS Player. Both run fine on the stick, and picture quality is top notch. I also installed the Vimu player app, and it also runs fine. I use these three apps for movies stored on my PC.
I have the stick installed on my A/V receiver (Yamaha). The device itself is certainly capable of excellent PQ.

What size of a file are you streaming?

Not big. Some smaller than 2GB.

I double checked netflix, and in fact it's also "micro stuttering". Just amazon contents play smooth. I would say it's a firmware problem.
Just to be clear, it's watchable, I watched a lot of netflix on it. But it's not confortable to watch as other players.

Or just look at the top of forum and click on the toolbar where it says "WIKI". Wink
