Yes, the PVR addons are a bit too unstable to be honest, and for the time being there's not a lot I can do about that. Hopefully it won't be too long until things settle down and return to "normal".

The good news is there have been a lot of pull requests merged that are refactoring, cleaning up, and improving performance, so hopefully PVR will be better at the end of this.
There is also a lot of restructuring of the repo's the PVR addons live in and how they are built which is adding to the instability.

So, if PVR is critical to you, it may be worth sticking with a build (or at least keeping it handy to revert to) that does work for you.
Obviously we need some users to keep testing and report when things break or are fixed. If no one mentions something is broken, it probably won't get fixed.
