Win DLNA problem
#31
Its a separate issue I believe. I have witnessed that same problem numerous times running on my Ouya. Sometimes it will come back upon install of Kodi update, or resetting and reinstalling fixes it as well. Unfortunately have not had time to make a log file to help pin it down further.

Yes, a log file from serverwmc should give info about why guide data is getting sent. Unless it is being sent but kodi is not displaying it.

Ok, this was the problem: http://www.thegreenbutton.tv/forums/view...f=5#p80288

Issue is now resolved. Turned out to just be a coincidence. I'll post new logs once the original problem presents again.

Which channel was the one that was failing in the log you posted?

The dlna address swmc gives kodi for that channel (ESPNHD) is:

http://192.168.1.124:5004/auto/v623

It looks correct to me, Does it work? Was there a chance there was no free tuner when you were trying to watch that channel?

Yes, that link does work. There was definitely a free tuner at the time. Other channels worked.

I am afraid I don't have an answer then. As was said before, swmc is simple giving the dlna address to kodi and it starts the live stream. I was wondering if somehow there could be a mistake in the address we send back, but the above proves that's not the case. I think the problem must be in kodi itself. Have you tried looking at the kodi log when this problem happens?

Yes, but I can't find anything obvious. Do you want it? I can paste it.

I am not good at understanding what I see in kodi logs, but sure, if nothing else its another set of eyes. Is it still true that this problem comes and goes on these problem channels, or is it always failing now?

Nevermind, I can't find the correct log at the moment. I'll post it the next time this happens.

This problem comes and goes without any sort of pattern. It happens at purely random times and to purely random channels. The problem eventually fixes itself, but again, without any pattern, explanation, or change in circumstance.

Have you tried resetting the hdhr when it happens?

I have not. I will try, but I will say that because the unit is in a completely different room than where the TVs are, if that's the solution, I'd rather just live with the problem.
