Searching for this kind of thing didn't really turn up any answers.

I've just built a tiny three disk unRAID server for a friend, and it will serve files to a brand new MXIII Amlogic S802 player. Before she comes to get her stuff, can I add videos to the Android box using the same server that will be in use at her house?

My concern was (is) the Android box and server that are being setup at my house will have different IP addresses than at her house.

Use the box smb name rather than its ip when configuring sources, ie "smb://nas-name/..." rather than "smb://192.168.0.2/..."

That appears to be the default. "smb://Tower"

I returned a couple hours ago from setting up everything. Other than forgetting to plug in the flash drive with unRAID software, everything was fine. All content was right where it was supposed to be.

The Amlogic S802 has no issue with a Rosewill wireless mouse/kb combo. So she can use that instead of the supplied remote.
