Hello
I'm using linux deepin 2014.2 and after installing Kodi there is no option to Suspend or Hibernate in power-menu
I can read this in the logfile:
No such property CanSuspend
No such property CanHibernate
The os has no trouble to suspend outside Kodi. Anyone have any ideas ?

Fix your polkit permissions. Make sure you have upower or logind packages.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

I'm new to linux.
The deepin os is a fresh installation.
How do I fix polkit permissions. I did check upower and it looks like it's installed
Best regards

I have absolutely no idea what: Linux Deepin 2014.2 means - but that's something your distribution should fix for you.

the issue is that newer upower packages have removed suspend functionality, but it still announces the capability.
if your distro uses systemd, removing upower will probably fix your issue. If you have consolekit, remove that as well

upower in version >= 0.99 removed announces the capability: can-suspend and can-hibernate
what now can be done to suspend kodi?
