M3U playlist & Auto Cleanup Tool
#1
I have a general question about the m3u playlist format.

I see that the a m3u playlist is a simple text file with a bunch of links to play/steam, I am looking for a tool/utility that can read the m3u playlist and try each connection and if it works, keep it and if it does not, remove it. This is basically to eliminate any bad live tv channel streams that don't work automatically assuming I have a very large playlist.

Anyone aware of such a tool?

You can use this http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=196188 to scan all the channels in your m3u file, it will mark the ones it cant connect to

Easier option is get a working IPTV list and not use something you found on a google search
