Yes but no full image downloadable, so no update for my rooted Shield... Confused
After updating to 2.1, the Kodi skin 'fTV' still looks terrible on the Nvidia Shield. Shadows are all wrong, anyone else seeing this?
Does anybody have the Shield continually rebooting after the update?

I've just received mine and after connect it and configure it, it downloaded and installed the 2.1 version. After that, the shield reboot continually if connected to the network.

Any idea why?

One note: If I set the language on English, not in Spanish, it works fine O_O
I'm trying to add a android apps to my kody main page like here http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Launch_Android_apps, but can't find "android apps" in programs.

What am I doing wrong ?

What skin are you using?

With some skins, like Aeon Nox 4.x, you have select Progams then select the folder up icon before you can access Android apps.

Thanks

BluerayX,

You need the full image from the developer download portal which is unreleased yet.
As I read you flash the system partition then via custom recovery you used to flash supersu.

Will try as soon as NVIDIA will release the non-OTA images.

Dan
The 2.1 update fixed the HDCP 2.2 issue that blocked the image when using an HDCP 2.2 compliant receiver and a non-HDCP 2.2 compliant TV.
