Please check this:
I noticed that since the nightly build kodi-20151023-9a517d9-master-armeabi-v7a.apk Kodi lost the 4K resolution (3840 x 2160), only it allows full HD (1920 x 1080).
It is very noticeable degradation of the resolution in the Kodi interface. (see "video calibration").
