(P.S. in french, PQ is the trivial shortname of toilet paper, so excuse me in advance if I have difficulties to remain serious )
lol
For sure it will be better for us to speak to you in french ( but I can't send MP to you )
I don't like to compare pictures on forums, because every single PC monitor screen can be calibrated differently according to manufactures specs....
More the fact that the average joe comparing pictures don't count the fact that is own TV with different specs or sources can give different results...
Few examples:
Once i was calibrating a Samsung Plasma F8500 and just the fact that the receiver was in Auto mode, the end result was slightly different from the receiver in Direct Mode
More the fact that Different test patterns used in calibration can vary slightly in black level...
The source output will always give you 2 final results..
The TV modes (cinema, natural etc ) will contribute for different results at the End
Unless the TV is calibrated with the Nvidia has source, and calibrate the same TV with another Reference level source, the images could be compared.. i could do that but in the next couple week i will be very busy.
The following pictures don't prove anything, but is just my modest opinion that Nvidia has a nice picture, nothing else, and nothing to worry about.
Pictures was taken with Iphone 5
OLED 1080p in cinema Mode
Receiver is on direct Mode
Oppo in source direct
Nvidia running FW 2.1 and Kodi 15.2
Content used was Casino Royal.mkv ripped from the original disk
The streaming was the same NFS from Synology.
From 10ft (3m) away and 55" TV, it would be very hard to distingue the differences.. maybe with specific content, but i havent look for it...
