NVIDIA Shield (Android TV set-top box)

The Shield does turn on my tv when waking from sleep mode though, but I can't use my tv remote to control the Shield (or Kodi).

Is this normal, or should my tv recognize the Shield and should I be able to control Kodi? Of course I'll move this to Nvidia's forums if this should work, but I thought I'd try here first Smile

Don't know about the Pulse-Eight device, but there are two issues:
- if CEC doesn't work (anymore) and all the settings in TV are right, you have to unplug all your devices including the TV from ~230V net for a few minutes. Try switch the TV on to unload capacitors. After that mostly CEC works (again)
- i have two HDMi cable, one made for 4k and Ethernet, and both cable doesn't work with CEC. I don't know why, but if i replace these cables with others it works.
