NVIDIA Shield (Android TV set-top box)
Hello everyone,

like many others, accessing usb drive from pc was impossible, I found on geforce forum an app that mount your shield usb drive into your pc
it's called virtualhere
https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...rver&hl=fr

you will also need a client on your pc: https://www.virtualhere.com/usb_client_software

it's very esay to use and so far i had no issue
Hi,

What is the best option (pros/cons) for the best playback with NVIDIA shield?
  • Android KODI
  • Dual boot with libreELEC
  • SPMC
  • Plex

My needs: 2.0 audio output, 1080p x264, 1080p hevc (8 or 10 bit), DVD mpeg2, auto refresh rate changer, MCR remote supports (or at least logitch harmony), WAF
thanks

Amazon has the Nvidia shield Tv on special price for prime members today (£99) Thats in the UK at least. I was going to get the Wetek hub but this looks a better deal

Grab it while you can for that price, does it include the remote also?
No. Only controller.
Great price! I'm gonna get one Smile
Yeah the price is really great. I'd buy it if only I wouldn't want to buy WeTeK Play2 instead. Smile

There is a bug (fixed in SPMC) where skin changes are not saved automatically. You need to make your changes, then exit Kodi. Once you restart the changes are saved.
