There's an error on first upload. Hope everything is captured there.

Hmmm, that's a log of someone using the log uploader add-on. Can you try again?

Needed to exit Kodi before I can upload. If I miss again, please let me know.

Sorry, that's pretty much the same as the first. Did you run the WNBC add-on, try to play something, then upload the debug log?
I can't see anything about the WNBC add-on in the log.

I did go through the sequence of using the WNBC add-on and select a program to play after setting the debug log. But when I upload the log, I got an error. I needed to exit Kodi before I can upload the log successfully. I also don't see any WNBC activities with log viewer. Not sure if it's because I turned off logging before uploading.

I'll try again and if I don't succeed, I'll upload the logs manually if I can manage to learn how it's done. Thanks for you patience.

If you have an SMB or NFS on your network, you can just use the built-in file manager and copy the log to it.
It's a bit of a bitch to get to the log file in the Firestick but you can :
Root filesystem->sdcard->Android->data->org.xbmc.kodi->files->.kodi->temp->kodi.log
There are also a number of tools that you can use to move files on/off the fire stick - ADB, ES Explorer, etc.

The activities went into the old log. I named it as WNBC log. Hope I did it right this time.

Log was good this time. You are receiving an HTTP 403 Forbidden error, which is consistent with the proxy/DNS service not working for this site.
As I said, the site is very sensitive and needs an "elite" class proxy. Did you try testing your proxy by accessing the website with a browser?

You're right, it's probably my proxy and I might need to check with them before looking another one. As to testing by accessing the website with a browser, I don't really know how to get the corresponding url for "Blindspot" which I've been trying to stream.

Whoops, I think I can try accessing the NBC site to see if I can stream the show with my vpn.

Just go to NBC.com find the show you want and play it in a browser.

Looks like I'm coming to a dead end. When I try to play an episode, it asks to load an episode app which isn't available. And when I try to install it from Google Play, it says "this app is incompatible with all of your devices".

I'm gonna talk to my vpn tech support to see if they can upgrade their proxy.

Thanks for your help.

V3.0.1 in my git:
https://github.com/learningit/plugin.video.wnbc

Big overhaul for Isengard and above. Subtitles are now Closed-captions, so you need to enable 'Parse for Closed Captions' in Settings->Video->Subtitles if you want to use them. I haven't tested when using a proxy or SmartDNS, so there may be issues.

If you have installed my test repo:
https://github.com/learningit/repository...odi_addons

You should get an "auto-update" or "update available" message, depending on your "auto-update" setting. You may need to do a "Check for updates" to see the new version.

A Pull Request has been made for the kodi.org repo, it should update within a few days.

Yeah, I screwed up with a typo. Version 3.0.3 in my git fixes that. The t1maddons repo should auto-update if you have it set.

Hi, plugin 3.0.3 is crashing as soon as i try to browse to a show's episodes. Somehow the URL to the show details is constructed wrongly.
The correct URL is:
Code:
http://tve********.com/live/3/nbce/containers/meet-the-press/iPad
But the plugin tries to open:
Code:
http://tve********.com/live/3/nbce/containers//meet-the-press/video/iPad

Works fine for me. I'm not sure why you see what you do. I'm guessing it's because you're outside the US.
