Hi all
I'm trying to get Openelec running on a early 256mb RPi.
The main issue is streaming from the net it reboots Kodi after 5 mins or so.
I've tried reducing the cache buffer as well as running the storage off a usb stick.
Any ideas or is it time to upgrade to a new one with more ram.

Thanks will give it a go. Is it worthwhile to give the test 15 builds a go too?

Sure, but you'll still benefit from swap (the swap-ebable script is included in my builds).
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.

I'll give both options a go and see how it goes.
Stupid question any tutorials on how to run that script? Just copy across and run?

Just to update the thread I believe the swap file has helped with the reboots. I've used the latest dev build along with the swap file and turned off some of the high mem usage items.
Thanks for your help. Breaths a little more life in the RPi until I decide whether to upgrade it to RPi 2 or a NUC.
