apparently you havent read all of my post, its not just madvr , ALL other filters support x64 bit previously to madvr for quite some time now , so no its not just because of madvr and dsplayer , its because its the most sensical thing to do if you want to get the most performance out of your software, and kodi being a media center id recon the kodi devs would go for it, not just becaue of dsplayer but because of the performance benefits across the board
