UPDATE: Isengard DSPlayer 15.1 RC1

• DSPlayer now uses a shared texture to show the GUI on madVR
  
• fixed an issue that could cause the application to crash by navigating in kodi main menu while madVR playback
  
• fixed an issue that could cause madVR to show a repeated frame loop
  
• Kodi advancedsettings.xml option "<latency><refresh><delay>" to set a different audio delay for each refresh now works also by switching the display mode only with madVR
  
• DSPlayer could return true in IsPlayingVideo() while performing a stop with madVR causing issues with external addons (ex. trakt.tv)
  
• fixed an issue with subtitles not shown after download if playing a file with smb path
  

the most important thing it's that now DSPlayer uses a shared texture to works with madVR, since this will be the only method to make KODI DX11 future versions to work with madVR i decided to upgrade also Isengard DSPlayer, there are also advantages for current version

- the madVR integration code it's less invasive for the KODI original code so there should be less issues
- with this method the playstart/stop and the display mode switching should be faster
- could be not needed anymore to use the madVR option "Delay playback start until render queue is full"
- could be not needed anymore to use the option "Force madVR to exit from fullscreen before stop"

so let me know how works the upgrade to this "shared texture" compared with the old DSPlayer for you, if you are one of the guys that needed one of that options let me know how DSPlayer works disabling them
especially "Force madVR to exit from fullscreen before stop"

pls don't enable the adjust refresh in madVR and Kodi togheter, this will cause only instability

Hi, I've tried this build and it does everything you say it should.

Subtitles are displayed after downloading.
Playback works fine without "Delay playback start until render queue is full".
In exclusive fullscreen mode everything stops perfectly, without the "Force madVR to exit from fullscreen mode" option activated.
I switch refresh rate with madVR only.

For faster video starting purposes I've tried running madVR in windowed mode (with overlay activated) and it fails to stop the video properly. Again, this in windowed fullscreen overlay.
Here's the debug log. A tv episode is started in windowed fullscreen overlay mode, when stopped it leads to black screen. If I CTRL-ALT_DEL and then press esc (Windows 8.1), Kodi comes back alive and I close it properly to save the debug log:
