this option isn't even used for normal deinterlacing it's used for IVTC and it is not only deinterlacing the pixel in the middle of the screen.

That should be discussed in MadVR thread at doom9 forum. Aracnoz just create settings gui to be easily selectable in Kodi. It took wording from madvr dialog not created new one.
