Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows
Wanted to check on the below question again. I have also included a Screen Shot for Reference. As you can see, the time remaining is slightly cut off, there is also additional picture that is cut off to the right.

Slightly different from one of the users, I don't get the problem where it shows 1/4th of the screen. My problem is that it cuts off about 10-15% of the right side of the screen. As indicated by the previous user, going to windowed mode and back to full screen fixes this. However the OSD is still cut off short despite the picture now working properly. I figure I would come on here and give it one more try before switching from DS Player to MPC-HC.

I am using the newest final version of Kodi DS that came out a day or two ago. I am also using the newest version of Mad-VR. I I have tried both of the solutions below plus trying to run Kodi in Comptability Mode for Windows 7 in addition to disabling DPI Scaling. I have restarted numerous times. I had the same problem with the R6 Beta release and previous version of MadVR. Currently I only have the 2160p resolutions listed in MadVR as suggested below. Any suggestions? I would prefer to stick to Kodi DS is possible, but I also need my system to work properly! Thanks.

I tried decreasing it to 100% but i still got the zoom problem in kodi and i cant have it on 100% anyway since my resolution is 3840x2160 and everything is to tiny at 100% zoom. If i press "\" button twice in kodi it works. But i would rather like it to work normally when i play a video without having to press "\" everytime i want to watch something.

I would rather use DSplayer. But i will try with MPC-HC.

Right click Kodi and pick Properties, head to Compatibility tab and disable DPI scaling. Restart the PC. Also, if you're disabling DPI scale inside of Windows, or set it back to 100% you need to restart the PC for it to take effect. But disable it on Kodi so you can keep 300% on the rest of the OS. Let me know if this helps. Remember to restart the PC before you say it doesn't work. Cause it's usually the problem.

When you're using DPI scaling in general, you need to take this into consideration when ever you install an "older" application or a poorly optimized app, since they don't do well with scaling. I have had the issue with DSplayer and various emulators i.e. my PS1 emulator, it did the 1/4th of the screen thing too. Just have to disable DPI scaling directly on the app and it works great. Good luck.

The only way I have been able to make it work is just delete them, and only define the 1080 resolutions. Then the image is perfect no matter what.

Unbelievable it worked! Thank you!
