kodi plex connect where you have to use the plex repo?  or the default plex one in regular repo?   Because I use plex kodi connect and resume works fine for me, for the most part.  If i stop a show/movie, and come back five minutes later it sometimes shows as not watched at all, at that point I just go to the plex app and force and update and the resume mark is where i left off when I hit stop.

 The one I'm experiencing the problem with is Plex for Kodi found in the default repo.  It sounds like you're using PlexKodiConnect which works a little differently as it builds its own database independent of the Plex media server.  Not ideal for my use, but I'll give it a shot and see if it works.  Thanks! 

It actually mirrors the database, using Kodi's built in database structure.  And then you can use any skin you prefer to see the shows and movies as you like.
