Because I use plex kodi connect and resume works fine for me, for the most part. If i stop a show/movie, and come back five minutes later it sometimes shows as not watched at all, at that point I just go to the plex app and force and update and the resume mark is where i left off when I hit stop. The one I'm experiencing the problem with is Plex for Kodi found in the default repo. It sounds like you're using PlexKodiConnect which works a little differently as it builds its own database independent of the Plex media server. Not ideal for my use, but I'll give it a shot and see if it works. Thanks!
