i must still be doing it wrong... lol
although everything is synced i'm still only getting 5-6min on 4k and HD but SD is always no sync issues. it never shows any dropped/repeated frames though.

i have noticed though its very dependant on the scaling properties and which decoder i use. seems to be the worst on directx11.

maybe they are creating the custom profile in nvidia control panel to force refresh rates.
