Thanks for the advice.. Much appreciated.. I am actually using Windows 10 latest version (I think it's creator's edition)..

My projector does upscale 1080p to 4K yes and it looked like 4K so dry pleased but do I only put the refresh rates into madvr if I want madvr to do this or do I always put the refresh rates into madvr? Thank you.. Are these rated ok:

2160p60, 2160p59, 2160p50, 2160p24, 2160p23, 1080p60, 1080p59, 1080p50, 1080p24, 1080p23

Are these all the refresh rates I should add or should I not add any? What's the benefit of adding these? Thank you for your help [emoji106]

you only need to add the refresh rates of the media you will be playing. now since this is only 2160p23 (4k) and 1080p23 (bluray) thats technically all you need unless you want to play 'demo' stuff that is 2160p60, 30 etc.etc. then you would add those as well.
there is no "24hz" material as its classed as 23hz (23.976) for which the industry actually class as 24hz but everybody else classes as 23hz. as far as i'm aware there are no 50hz or 60hz bluray/4k discs out there.
dvd is classed as either 50hz or 60hz depending on your country.

if you want to upscale 1080p material to 2160p then dont add 1080p23 into the list and let madvr do the upscaling.
if you are only ever going to play rips of the original bluray/4k discs 1-1 in .mkv format all you need to add is 2160p23 if you want madvr to do the upscaling.
or 2160p23, 1080p23 if you want your projector to do the final upscaling.
