AMD cards have had HDR switching for ages, HDR is one of the things RX cards has been consistently good that, no problems at all with HDR on my RX460, was also fine on my RX550 and RX480 - both with my desktop in 444 8 bit and 420 10 bit modes, i'm currently using 444 8bit.
