question,
what relevancy does the desktop settings have while playing a movie in dsplayer as i'm completely confused as to the interaction.

my understanding at the moment is there is none as madvr + lav video take over during playback in dsplayer. desktop modes are only relevant when you are on your OS desktop or in kodi GUI.

so can someone please explain to me why it matters what your desktop display mode is set to.
