Hi. First of all, thank you for this great build, that solved a huge problem I had with the regular Kodi player.

A lot is different and though I figured most of the changes out, I can't get around this one. I do the audio passthrough via SPDIF so there is no problem with DTSHD since it only passes through the DTS core. So, if I check all settings in the DSPlayer audio filters to bitstream, I have no audio when playing Dolby TrueHD sound and I understand that. But if I uncheck bitstreaming for TrueHD, the audio I receive on my sound system is Stereo instead of AC3 5.1.
In the regular Kodi build under system - audio - settings I just checked the passthrough option "convert to AC3" so TrueHD only was downconverted while everything else was passed through as intended. In this build this option doesn't seem to do anything since it must be controled by the audio filters of the DSPlayer.

Is there a way I could get back again my downconversion from TrueHD only to AC3 5.1?

 Hey guys, I'm having the exact same problem as ryu87 did.

My HTPC is connected to my LG TV and then that's connected via HDMI ARC to my Pioneer receiver.
Previously, when playing TrueHD files, the receiver just played the audio track in 5.1 Dolby Digital (as it does not support TrueHD). Kodi is set to use 'best match' and 'allow bitstreaming' under audio settings, however I'm sure that doesn't matter now since I'm using DSplayer. In DSplayer settings, I've got everything set to bitstream, except for TrueHD and DTS-HD, as my receiver doesn't support either. When selecting both of those, files with either of those formats are only played in stereo.

I've tried downloading AC3filter and setting it as an external filter in DSplayer. In the AC3filter config, I've ticked 'use SPDIF' in both the 'main' and 'SPDIF' tabs and made sure that 'TrueHD' is selected in the 'Use AC3 filter for:' section in the 'system' tab, however I cannot get this to work. In fact, it's worse when I choose AC3filter because now ALL audio tracks are just output as stereo.

Can somebody tell me how I can get TrueHD audio tracks to output via bitstream to my receiver so they can be played in Dolby Digital?
