I forgot you can use media rules to apply an audio filter to a specific rule. This might not be appealing, but it is another way to accomplish what you want.

You would have to set DSPlayer to "Media rules and Filters configuration" and create rules for different types of content. The last time I tried this while incorporating the internal filters, I couldn't get it to work, but I could have done something wrong.

These are my old configuration files: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1oQVg0SV...sp=sharing. They are missing the priority order rule, so I don't know if they still work. They also require external instatallations of LAV Filters and XySubFilter. This can be a bit of work in addition to creating a new rule for TrueHD tracks (which would have to be created by adding a filename tag to these video files and installing a usable audio filter). The configuration files must be moved to: userdata/dsplayer.

Another option if you aren't willing to give up on DSPlayer. There can be some tweaking involved with DSPlayer because it relies on external components to do everything. The default audio renderer, in particular, is very limited.
