I am disappointed to read how often Netflix streams are downgraded when played through the new Kodi Netflix add-on, particularly on Windows. DSPlayer support seems unlikely, anyways.(2019-02-12, 15:05)Warner306 Wrote:Internet is fine as I told you it plays fine with Videoplayer (100Mbps Fibre to the home).(2019-02-12, 03:16)gujal Wrote:
The streams that I am trying to play are the HDR launch playlist from youtube. Streams smoothly with Videoplayer but looks washed out as it does not handle HDR at all on Krypton, DSPlayer plays it correctly with HDR passthru to the TV but stutters as it does not use the network cache. So if DSPlayer by nature won't use cache, then so be it
PS: Just used the Youtube app on my Panasonic TV and it plays the HDR launch playlist smoothly with proper HDR processing. Will use it that way instead of Kodi
