That was happening to me when ReloadSkin() was in my keyboard.xml. Try again without your keyboard.xml.

Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately I don't have ReloadSkin() anywhere in my keyboard.xml

It appears to happen only when using madVR Exclusive fullscreen mode (not clear what I lose nowadays from using Windowed). Tried activating debug log but nothing came out of it. No error, nothing. 

Do you use a keyboard.xml? Try removing it.

I did that, nothing changed. On stop it goes back to home screen, if I use Exclusive full screen.
